Interface: GeovisWorkspaceSidebarBearingSetting

Defined in: context/GeovisWorkspaceContext.ts:790

A camera-bearing setting: a compass dial the reader drags, with ±45° steps and a back-to-north button beside it.

Its own control rather than a slider over 0–359: the value is circular — 355° sits next to 0° — and a dial shows the direction itself, not a position on a track. The readout names the cardinal point, which is what makes this a bearing rather than any angle.

The value runs one way, dial to map: the app turns it into view.bearing. A reader who rotates the map itself (right-drag, the compass button) leaves the dial where it was, since the map reports no camera change back.
